( AGES )
Alright, to avoid having anyone making felines that are too young to do what people what them to have done, I've made up this thread. I should have done this earlier, but it sort of slipped my mind.ROYAL HOUSES
0 - 6 Months
They are still considered kits. Kits are highly protected, no matter their parents relationship with one another (mates or not) seeing as they are the future of the House and they don't want the kit's mind being plagued by influences outside the House. The kits are always watched by someone in the House, whether a parent or a sibling...usually the baron/baroness will take up the responsibility to watch kits when the parents are unavailable. Kits are absolutely forbidden from leaving the palace grounds and are not allowed to speak with anyone outside their House. Like I said - they are over protected.
7 - 11 Months
Beginning of adolescence in the eyes of the Houses, they officially move away from the view of being a kit and join the ranks as a son or daughter where many of them will stay for the rest of their life. Between these ages, they are allowed to leave the palace ground, but must be accompanied by an adult. The Houses realize that even at this age they can be highly swayed to see the views of others Houses or even see the wrong the Houses don't want them to see in Truslinia. They are not allowed to go to Truslinia yet and are forced to stay within the House's lands. They can roam the palace grounds alone though.
12 - 16 Months
They are now allowed to roam their House's lands alone and are allowed to talk to anyone who may intrude, but will expected to try and get any intruders to leave the lands. They are allowed now to go to Truslinia, but with an adult of at least two years of age. The Houses don't trust the Truslinia felines to act responsibly around the young royalty and often fear that if someone too young goes alone into the city that they'll get kidnapped...or worse. The want to teach the young members what to watch for and when to trust felines and when not to. To the Houses, it is important that the young kits know what to expect when they go down to the messed up city.
17 - 20 Months
They are given some room to breathe and are allowed to go to Truslinia, but must always tell an adult (at least two years) where they are going, when they are leaving, when they get back, and what happened when they were away. If they are ever found out to lie about these leavings, then they will be forced back to only being allowed to leave with an adult.
21 - 23 Months
A little bit of a probation period before they become true "adults" in the Houses. They don't need to tell an adult anything about when they are leaving and where and what they did, but if they are found out to have done something wrong, they will be sent back to the last stage of needing to tell adults and must wait five months to advance up again.
24 Months
Well, they are now considered adults! They are allowed to do whatever they want, whenever they want! To a point...they still cannot do anything against the family wishes or they can either be put on the -tell an adult what you are doing- thing or they are kicked out of the House depending on the situation.TRUSLINIA
0 - 2 Months They are watched by their parents, but are on a loose leash. Depending on the parents, the way they are treated in these first couple of months defer. Some are ignored only to be fed milk, others are not taken care of at all and die...ages in Truslinia don't matter nearly as much.
3 - 12 Months
There are some kits that are abandoned at three months of age when parents can't take care of them, but most kits will still be taken care of until they are a year old. At a year though, they are forced to get a job of some sort and are expected to bring in some money for the family.
